There are only 8 players that have played more minutes that have been worse than Bayela in PRPG in the entire nation. There are only and 25 worse in BPM. ECU hasn't played a world beater SOS either.

You'd think a third of the season in he would be playing less now. Maybe have him out there in garbage time like last night when the game is essentially over where he hit a 3 point shots with little pressure to try to get going. Instead in the last two games, he has been elevated into the starting lineup, crunch time lineups, and is playing more minutes.

I've never seen these kinds of numbers from a starter. He did very little above average other than rebound in JUCO's even before he tore his ACL and missed last season too. At least if it was Tabbs there is a D1 history and pedigree to point to and hope he starts making shots.

That's the history and he was last at 30.9% from three even before injury and missing a year. Now he has one of the highest 3 point rates on the team and we've seen JUCO percentages not translate very well anyway. Baruiti for example.

Diboundje played 9 minutes vs UNCW after playing 6 minutes vs Campbell. Statistically, he is the 4rd best player and has played pretty well this entire season. He made his only shot he took from the floor last night and didn't have any fouls or turnovers or anything overtly negative. I forgot to save the in-game +/- but I know he wasn't as negative as Bayela who was 3rd worst.

 On the season

Bayela has a Negative -1.7 PER and a -53.8 net rating

Diboundje has a 13.8 PER and  +16.9 net rating

These are the numbers.
